sckxgivingCan you believe the holidays are just around the corner? Let us do the cooking while you relax and enjoy Thanksgiving with friends and family. South City Kitchen Midtown will be open from 11:30-8:30pm, and South City Kitchen Vinings will be open from 11:30am-7:30pm on Thursday, November 28, serving up a traditional Southern holiday meal with a sophisticated twist.

The following 3-course prix-fixe dinner will be available for $45 for adults and $22.50 for children under 12 (plus tax and gratuity).

Old Charleston She-Crab Soup with fresh cream, sherry
Fried Green Tomatoes with goat cheese, sweet red pepper coulis
Sweet Potato Dumplings with hen of the woods mushrooms, pickled pears,
pork belly, arugula, Sweet Grass Dairy Asher blue
Housemade Pimento Cheese with toasted corn crackers, butter pickles, celery hearts
Pork BBQ with scallion-grits hoe cake, bbq sauce, horseradish slaw
Chicken Livers with Benton’s country ham, caramelized onions,
brioche, creamed corn, garlic jus
Smoked Pork Belly with collard green kimchi, orange-tupelo honey, benne seeds
Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with watercress, citrus aioli
Autumn Greens Salad with roasted winter squash, Dijon mustard vinaigrette,
candied pecans, dried cranberries, Grana Padano

Roasted Turkey Breast with giblet gravy, cornbread dressing,
collard greens, whipped potatoes, orange cranberry sauce
Grilled Pork Loin with spicy smashed sweet potatoes,
bacon creamed collards, red onion jam
Shrimp and Mussel Jambalaya with okra, andouille, spicy tomato broth
Buttermilk Fried Springer Mtn. Chicken with garlic sautéed collards,
smashed bliss potatoes, honey-thyme jus
Smoke Roasted Filet of Beef with celery root potatoes,
roasted Brussels sprouts, truffle jus
Shrimp and “Red Mule” Grits with tasso ham,
poblano chilies, smoked tomato gravy
Pan Seared Salmon with mushroom farrotto, arugula salad, port wine vinaigrette
Veggie Plate with spicy sweet potatoes, garlic sautéed collards,
roasted Brussels sprouts, mushroom and kale farro

Or, if you prefer to dine at home, you can order complete dinners to-go for 8 for $35 per person (plus tax). Each dinner for 8 includes:

8 housemade biscuits
8 housemade corn muffins
1 boneless roasted turkey breast
1 quart giblet gravy
2 cups cranberry sauce
2 quarts collard greens
2 quarts whipped potatoes
2 quarts cornbread dressing
1 whole chocolate pecan pie
2 cups whipped cream
