@EccoATL and @LureATL to Participate in Pastured Poultry Week June 10-16

Ecco and Lure will be helping to spread the word about pastured poultry by featuring special dishes made with pasture-raised chickens from June 10-16.  Each restaurant will partner with a local farm who practices this method of raising chickens.


Free-range chickens at White Oak Pastures

Pastured Poultry refers to chickens that are raised with access to open fields, often in sequence with other animals.  This method is considered much more humane and sustainable. For more information regarding this method, visit the Georgian’s for Pastured Poultry website.

Ecco will be partnering with White Oak Pastures located in Bluffton, Georgia.  This family-run farm has been around since 1866.

Ecco will offer chicken thighs roasted in a wood oven with salsa verde and local roasted potatoes as the special menu item running June 10-16.

Lure will be partnering with Grassroots Farms located in Tattnall County, Georgia.  Their belief is that “animals treated with dignity and respect will have a taste which surpasses anything on the market today.”

Lure will offer 2 separate dishes: one for lunch and one for dinner. Their lunch dish will be seared chicken breast with peas, carrot puree and lemon gnocchi. The dinner option will be chicken confit leg with spring onions and dirty rice.
