Cast Your Vote In @DiscoverAtlanta’s Centennial Cocktail Contest!

In celebration of 100 years of hospitality, Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau is running a centennial cocktail contest to determine the official libation of its monumental anniversary.

ACVB asked talented beverage managers and bartenders across the cityincluding South City Kitchen Midtown, La Tavola, Ecco, El Taco, Alma, and Lure, of courseto create theme cocktails specially for the occasion.

That’s where you come in.

Visit any of our participating restaurants before June 14 and ask for the specialty ACVB centennial cocktail. Enjoy. Then go online and vote for your favorite. The 14 drinks with the most votes will move on to the finals at the ACVB Connect event at Opera Nightclub on July 11. The grand prize winner will be announced at the Atlanta Hospitality Hall of Fame  on November 14.

South City Kitchen Midtown – Atlanta Rosewood

Made with .5 oz of Woodford Reserve Bourbon, .5 oz of Apple cider, .25 oz of Monin Apple pie, .5 oz of rosemary syrup, .25 oz lemon juice, and garnished with a sprig of rosemary

La Tavola – Centuplicate Julep

Made with 1oz Art In the Age of Root liquor, 1oz Jack Daniels Honey, mint syrup, soda, and garnished with a mint sprig

Ecco – Destination South

Made with 6-8 blueberries, 2 basil leaves, .25 oz Agave Nectar, .5 oz Lillet, 1.5 oz. Hangar One Vodka, and .5 oz. Bluecoat Gin

El Taco – La Centanario

Made with 2 oz El Jimador Reposado Tequila, 1 1/2 oz of freshly squeezed lime juice, 1/4 oz Agave Nectar, and 1 slice ruby red grapefruit

Alma – The Centennial Gentleman

Made with 2 oz Bacardi Light, .5 oz Lime juice, .5 oz Hibiscus syrup, and a fresh sprig of basil

Lure – A Picnic at Piedmont

Made with 1.5 oz Bombay Sapphire, 1 oz peanut orgeat, barspoon Bacardi spiced rum (Oak Heart), and 1/2 oz lime juice
