These are just a few more reasons why I’m so proud to work for this wonderful company filled with amazing people who love what they do: making you happy.
First, Ecco‘s spectacularly delicious fried goat cheese with cracked black pepper and honey (pictured below) was named by Creative Loafing as one of the “Top 100 Dishes In Atlanta To Eat Before You Die.” (La Tavola’s spaghetti and veal meatballs were awarded this distinction, as well, in 2012.) If you’ve had them, you know why. If you haven’t, well, I don’t know what to say but go. NOW.
Next, Alma Cocina was included in AJC’s Spring Dining Guide: The Atlanta 50. You can even watch a video and hear in the food critic’s own words why it was chosen as a personal favorite among the group. Alma is one of the best reasons to journey south of North Avenue after 5pm. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.
In addition, Alma was also named one of the 10 Greatest Mexican Restaurants in America by USA Today. Come see for yourself why Alma Cocina is the best Mexican restaurant in downtown Atlanta!
Thrillist Atlanta has also named El Taco and South City Kitchen Midtown two of the best restaurants in Atlanta. El Taco earned top marks in the Best Mexican category, and South City Kitchen Midtown took top honor with Best Brunch.
Lastly, having just come from Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2013 Pacesetter Awards, I am thrilled to say that Fifth Group Restaurants was named the 50th fastest growing company in Atlanta out of the 100 honored. Considering the volatility of the economy over the past 6 years, this is quite an accomplishment and the direct result of a lot of hard work and dedication. Congratulations to everyone involved!
