Dine Out for Life at @SCKVinings, @ElTacoATL, @EccoATL, @AlmaATL, and @LureATL benefitting @OpenHandAtlanta

openhandJoin us on Wednesday, April 24th for dinner at South City Kitchen Vinings, Ecco, El Taco, Alma, or Lure where we’ll be donating 25% of all the night’s profits to Open Hand Atlanta as a part of Dine Out for Life.

Open Hand is the largest producer and distributor of home-delivered meals in the United States. On any given day, the organization, with the help of over 125 volunteers, prepares and delivers more than 5,000 freshly cooked, nutritious meals to people in Atlanta whose health complications have impaired their ability to prepare meals for themselves.  Open Hand services homebound seniors, persons with chronic, critical and terminal illnesses, the disabled, and dependent children – 94% of whom live below the federal poverty level.

This year marks the 21st annual Dine Out for Life, and it is one of Open Hand’s largest fundraising events.  For the past 7 years, Fifth Group Restaurants has been an active participant, helping Open Hand to raise over $150,000 in the 2012 Dine Out for Life.  This year, nearly 100 restaurants will be helping to raise money for this great cause.
