El Taco Comes To Life On Day Of The Dead

First off, let’s get one thing straight: Day of the Dead has nothing—and I mean nothing—to do with Halloween. It is not a sad or scary holiday. Quite the opposite; it’s a big, happy celebration—a day on which to memorialize and celebrate loved ones who have passed on. You toast a drink to them. You clean and adorn their graves with brightly colored flowers and decorations. As offerings, detailed skulls made entirely of sugar are put proudly on display in homes, shops, bars and restaurants. By honoring them in this way, they are never forgotten. See, it’s not scary at all, In fact, it’s kinda sweet.

El Taco is celebrating Monday, October 29 through Friday, November 2 with huge $10 22 oz. El Jimador margaritas in a souvenir cup and our famous $4 pineapple-infused tequila shots. We’re also building a traditional shrine, too, so you can leave a little memento.

For reservations of 7 or more, call 404.873.4656 today. Remember, life is way too short not to eat tacos and drink tequila as often as possible.
