Cinco de Mayo–El Yeah!

Every knows that May 5 is Cinco de Mayo: A time to reflect and observe Mexico’s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla. Oh, who are we kidding? It’s really about getting together with your besties and enjoying a day and night of frivolity, food and a cocktail or two, right?

No place—and I mean no place—does this better than El Taco, Citysearch Atlanta’s 2010 pick for best Mexican restaurant. And with the holiday falling on Saturday this year, the party will start when we open for weekend lunch at 11:30am and won’t stop until the last person is ready to go.

Enjoy $12 22oz El Jimador margaritas and $9 22oz Dos Equis Lager Drafts in a souvenir cup (pictured below), $12 buckets of Dos Equis Amber or Lager and our semi-famous pineapple-infused tequila shots for only $4.

We’ve also got some great new dishes on the menu like our smoked trout taco with sweet lime mayo, red habanero cabbage and yellow pico de gallo—it’s a party in a flour tortilla!

Give us a call at 404.873.4656 when you’re on your way to the restaurant and, if there’s a wait, we’ll put your name on the list. Check in when you arrive and we’ll get you seated just as fast as we can. See you then!
