The Big Easy Comes To Smynings

We’re so excited about South City Kitchen Vinings‘ upcoming homage to all things Crescent City—the “A Taste of New Orleans” special menu February 2-11—that we thought we’d give you a little sneak peak at the next installment of our ongoing education series,”Linger & Learn.”

Join us on the patio Wednesday, February 1 from 5:30-7:30pm for “Big Easy Cocktails.” At this step-by-step class taught by our expert bartenders (hi, Charlie!), you’ll learn how to mix a Hurricane, Romas Gin Fizz and Sazerac like a rock star. Of course, you’ll get to sip on the delicious concoctions throughout the demonstrations; that would be just plain cruel of us otherwise.

You lucky devils will also get to linger and sample tastes of classic New Orleans dishes—with our unique spin—that will be on the special menu starting the following night:

  • Crispy Fried Boudin choucroute, Creole mustard
  • Alligator & Andouille Beignets green chili aioli
  • Oyster en Brochette house-cured bacon, sweet corn mache choux
  • Riz Jaune poached shrimp salad, mirlitons
